Cat Libres Coaches
Jon Guerra and Jacobo Blanco have been chosen to guide the National Padel Team in the Cat Libres division of the 2024 Pan American Padel Championships. Both are highly respected in the Padel community for their deep knowledge and coaching experience.
- Jon Guerra currently coaches at Padel Courts in Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, and has a growing reputation for his ability to develop top-tier players. - Jacobo Blanco, Ranked number 1 in the Nox USPA Open Mens rankings as well as a talented and respected coach, Jacobo operates out of Taktika San Diego. Senior Pan-American Championships Coaches
The Senior Pan American Championships coaching team is equally impressive, with Marcelo ‘Masa’ Perez leading the group as Head Coach, supported by assistant coaches Ángel Espadas and Antonio Martinez.
- Marcelo Perez, often called “Masa,” brings a wealth of international coaching experience. The former #1-ranked player in Argentina has spent recent years coaching in Bilbao, Spain. He was instrumental in leading the German Senior Team at the recent Senior World Championships in Alicante, Spain. - Ángel Espadas, Having coached the Women’s National Team for the Seniors World Padel Championships 2024 in La Nucia, Spain last April, Angel brings an elite-level coaching resume to the Senior Team. currently based in Orlando, FL, and coaching at Caribe Royale Padel, Espadas is known for his dynamic coaching methods, which prioritize technical skills and mental resilience, making him an ideal fit for the competitive Pan Am stage. - Antonio Martinez rounds out the coaching team.
