The coaching team for the Pan American Senior Championships is led by the highly accomplished team of Marcelo ‘Masa’ Perez, Ángel Espadas, and Antonio Martinez.

  • Marcelo ‘Masa’ Perez brings a wealth of international experience, having been a former #1-ranked player in Argentina and a successful coach in Spain. His strategic expertise will be pivotal in guiding the team through the tournament.
  • Ángel Espadas, based in Orlando, FL, is a long-standing US National Team Coach who has a proven track record, having coached the Women’s National Team at the Senior World Padel Championships in Spain earlier this year, as well as the successful Pan Am Cat Libres team of 2023.
  • Antonio Martinez, who coaches out of San Diego and San Antonio, TX, focuses strongly on player development and match strategy, adding valuable insights to the team’s preparation.

The United States heads to Argentina after a strong showing in last year’s championships in Brazil and is determined to reach the pinnacle of senior padel this time. The Pan American Senior Championships serve as a testament to the growth of the sport in the US and the dedication of its athletes, coaches, and supporters.

As the countdown to December begins, the USPA extends its gratitude to the sponsors—Bullpadel, Padel Haus, Chosen Foods, and Van Eck—whose support has made this journey possible.
