PADEL HAUS AND US PADEL ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCE LANDMARK US OPEN PARTNERSHIP

MAY 1, 2025
ATLANTA, GA
– Padel Haus, one of the leading padel club operators in the United States, and the United States Padel Association (USPA) today announced they have signed a three-year agreement to host the US Open Padel Championships. The 2025 edition, the second US Open, will take place on October 2–5 at the newly opened Padel Haus Atlanta, establishing the event as the most prestigious padel tournament in the United States.

The 2025 US Open Padel Championships will serve as the highest-ranking points event on the USPA Circuit and will feature the largest prize fund in USPA history, awarding a record $35,000. The tournament will attract the top American players and elite international talent while creating meaningful engagement opportunities for brands and partners.

Bill Ullman, President of the US Padel Association, said: “This partnership establishes the US Open Padel Championships as the premier padel event in the United States. With Padel Haus as our partner, the USPA is fulfilling its core mission to grow the sport of padel in the US. The US Open Padel Championships is now firmly established, with a strong foundation for growth in the years to come.”

The three-year agreement provides crucial stability for sponsors, allowing for multi-year activation strategies and measurable ROI. The championship’s comprehensive media plan includes dedicated streaming platforms and extensive social media integration, creating multiple touchpoints for sponsor visibility.

Santiago Gomez, Founder and CEO of Padel Haus, echoed this sentiment: “We’re not just organizing a tournament — we’re building a true platform to set the gold standard for sanctioned padel events in the U.S. We’ve committed to a six-figure prize money budget over the next three years and are investing heavily in streaming capabilities, professional commentators, real-time scoring, and elevated production quality. It made perfect sense for us and the USPA to choose Atlanta as the destination for this year’s tournament — home to one of the largest international airports in the world, a wide range of accommodation options, and one of the best padel clubs globally. Our goal is to make the US Open the must-attend padel event of the year.”

The 2025 event builds on the successful 2024 tournament hosted at Padel Haus Dumbo, with dramatic enhancements to the commercial experience. The championship will now feature premium hospitality areas, executive networking events, and brand integration opportunities throughout the venue. Early sponsors will receive first right of refusal for subsequent years, ensuring prime positioning as the event grows.
