The United States Padel Association (USPA) is proud to announce updated training session information for the 2025 Absolute U.S. Women’s National Team. Following the success of the Las Vegas April 25th session, an additional training will be held in Austin, Texas, on May 23rd. The session will be led by Head Coach Richy Bailey and Assistant Coach Mariana Talarico, as they prepare to scout and develop talent ahead of the Pan American Championships in Chile this October.
These scouting events aim to assemble the top American talent to represent the U.S. on the international stage. An additional training session will take place in San Francisco on August 1st prior to a USPA 2000-level tournament. These events are critical to expanding and refining the player pool for the women’s national team.
Who Can Attend?
The training session is open to all U.S. passport holders who have experience competing in USPA D1 Women’s tournaments or other elite-level circuits. Participants must also be available to travel to Chile from October 20–26, with the Pan American Absolute Championships taking place October 22–26, 2025.
Note: While Division 1 experience is recommended as guidance, the session is open to all qualified players who are committed to competing at the highest level.
Following the sessions, coaches will provide personalized feedback and discuss possible development pathways. Players may be directed toward Cat Libres events or other opportunities if further competitive experience is recommended.
Participation in this training does not guarantee a spot on the national team, and official selections will follow the criteria outlined on the USPA website.
