The United States Padel Association (USPA) is thrilled to share an exciting opportunity for our talented junior padel players! Padel America is organizing the Circuito Panamericano de Menores in 2025, a series of pairs tournaments for junior athletes from Padel America-affiliated nations, and the USA will be represented!
This circuit offers a fantastic platform for young American players to gain international competition experience and showcase their skills against their peers from across the continent. The Circuito Panamericano de Menores will consist of three tournaments held in different countries throughout 2025, leading into the finals scheduled for September.Â
- Chile: June 5-7, 2025
- Mexico: July 24-26, 2025
- Brazil: August 28-30, 2025
- U.S.A.: September 2025 (Specific dates to be announced)
Key Details about the Circuito Panamericano de Menores:
- Pairs Competition: This is a doubles tournament where players will compete in pairs.
- Eligibility: The tournament is open to players from countries affiliated with Padel America, including the USA.
- Age Categories: Competition will be held in the following categories for both boys and girls. Under 14, Under 16, Under 18.
- Nationality and Age: All players must hold a USA passport and be within the age parameters of the category they are participating in.
- Tournament Format: Players DO NOT have to play in all tournaments, and the first three tournaments will include a group stage, with the top two pairs from each group advancing to a direct elimination round.
- “Futuras Estrellas Padel America”: The fourth and final tournament will be a special event where only the top 6 ranked pairs from each category based on their performance in the previous tournaments will compete to be crowned champions of the circuit.
- Representation: While players will be representing the USA, please note that these are not official US National Team tournaments.
Important Information for Interested Players and Families:
- Passport Requirement: All participating players must possess a valid U.S. passport.
- Parent/Caregiver Accompaniment: Players must be accompanied by a parent or legal caregiver throughout their participation in the circuit.
- USPA Support: While the USPA may send a coach or delegate to these events, this is not guaranteed.
- Financial Responsibility: Families will be responsible for all travel arrangements, accommodation, on-site transportation, and general tournament logistics.
- Application Process: Interested players are invited to apply for consideration to represent the USA in the Circuito Panamericano de Menores. Submission of the application form does not guarantee selection.
- Selection Committee: Final selections of the players who will represent the USA will be made by the US National Teams Committee.
