United States Padel Association Announces 2022 Board of Directors

Houston, Texas (December 30, 2021) -- The United States Padel Association (USPA) has announced a new Board of Directors for 2022, including the announcement of Marcos Del Pilar as USPA President. The new board members and president were announced following the annual meeting of the board of directors on December 27th, 2021.

The USPA is recognized as the official governing body for Padel in the United States by the International Padel Federation (FIP). The USPA exists to encourage and develop the widest participation and highest proficiency of Padel.

“I have dedicated my life to this amazing sport, and am excited about the future of Padel in the United States,” said Marcos Del Pilar. “The incoming board has the right mix of experience and energy to continue the growth of Padel. I want to thank past board members Sergio Ortiz (President), Nicholas Frank, Gabriel Perez, Claudia Alarcon and Kenneth Stillman for their service to the organization.”  

The 2022 USPA Board of Directors

Marcos Del Pilar 
Del Pilar has been dedicated to Padel worldwide for more than two decades. He has a complete vision for the Padel industry to create an ecosystem that grows the sport sustainably for the long term. He is Director of Padel at the USTA National Campus and more than twenty-five years of global racquet sports industry experience. 

German Previsdomini
Previsdomini continues his service with the USPA. Previsdomini is the CEO and Founder of M & C Contractors. He has forged a successful professional career and has extensive expertise in development, construction, education, and hospitality industries. He applies that knowledge to exceed expectations in the Padel arena. 
 
Armando Rodiel
Rodiel continues his service with the USPA. Rodiel is a Co-Founder and partner of Taktika Padel in San Diego. In addition, the founder of California Padel Sport. Rodiel has over ten years of coaching experience, many of these alongside the best coaches in the world and has over two decades of global experience in Padel. 

Pascal Collard
Collard is the Chief Executive Officer of the Sarah Vande Berg Tennis and Wellness Center. The SVB Tennis and Wellness Center is the first of it’s kind in the USA, combining tennis, Pickleball and Padel in a public private collaboration. Collard has a lifetime of experience in management positions across Europe and the USA. An innovative thinker and extraordinary leader, he now brings that experience to the USPA. 

Sid Newcomb
Newcomb is Director of Certification and Testing for the United States Professional Tennis Association. Newcomb is a certified professional coach in Padel and has received numerous awards for his contribution to the growth of racquet sports. Newcomb has over thirty years of management experience in country clubs. 
 
Martin Sweeney
Sweeney is the founder of Real Racquet Academy, with locations in Las Vegas, Nevada and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Sweneey has been an advocate and entrepreneur in the Padel world since 2011 and has extensive knowledge of court procurement, club management, software support and event management. 

Scott Colebourne
Colebourne is the Chief Operating Officer of Cliff Drysdale Management and serves his first term with the USPA. Colebourne has over twenty years of global racquet sports experience and worked on the development of the Padel facility at the Ritz Carlton, Key Biscayne, Miami. In addition, he has significant experience in finance, marketing, membership and operations.
