American Padel Federation Unveils Exciting Lineup for Pan American Tournaments 2024

After months of anticipation following the United States’ thrilling victory at the Pan American Open Amateur Tournament in Cancun, Mexico, the American Padel Federation (APF) has just announced an exhilarating 2024 Pan American International Tournament schedule.

The 2023 Open tournament held in Cancun, Mexico, was nothing short of spectacular. It saw Team USA clinching a historic win that announced their arrival as a formidable force in the sport of Padel. In the face of adversity and last-minute venue changes due to Hurricane Otis, the American team showed incredible resilience and skill, much to the joy and pride of fans back home. Team USA’s efforts were supported by the volunteer coaching teams and Team USA’s Gold Level sponsors—Padel Lux, Padel Haus, and VanEck. In addition, the team’s uniform sponsor Bullpadel continues to outfit the teams in the best clothing possible.

As we turn our attention to 2024, the American Padel Federation (APF) has revealed that four major events will be hosted across the Americas. These tournaments promise to draw in fans and players alike, building upon the previous year’s momentum:

  • The Pan American Juniors will kick off the series in Aguascalientes, Mexico, from September 17 to 21, drawing in the brightest young talents from across the continent.
  • Following this, the Pan American Open is set to take place from November 13 to 16 in Asuncion, Paraguay. This event brings together the best amateur players from each country.
  • The end of November will witness the prestigious Pan American Club tournament from the 28th to December 2nd, to be held in Acapulco, Mexico. This promises to be a riveting contest between the top clubs vying for continental supremacy.
  • Rounding off the year, the Pan American Seniors tournament is scheduled for December 6 to 8 in Mar del Plata, Argentina. This event will showcase the top age group talents across the Americas.

The APF’s announcement has not only enthused fans, but also players, and the anticipation for the upcoming tournaments is palpable. After last year’s showcase of tenacity by Team USA, the excitement has only intensified. Fans are eager to see if the champions can defend their title at the Open tournament and improve their standings in the other events.

Play on the Chosen Foods USPA Circuit this year has increased with many tournaments seeing record numbers and the quality of play increasing across all categories.
