Road to Chile PanAm 2025:

In order to better prepare for the Absolute PanAms, the Absolute team coaches have prepared a set of milestones that will help by:

  • Bringing together top U.S. players in a competitive and structured training environment 
  • Aligning with major USPA tournaments to reduce travel costs and maximize competitive  exposure

Strengthening team chemistry and tactical preparation before the championship

Dates and Locations

Male Team

Coaching Team: Luifer Ramirez & JP Arizpe (Know Your Coaches)

  1.  Nashville, TN – June 4-5th (pre USPA 1000)
  2. San Francisco, CAAug 7/30-7/31 (pre USPA 2000)


Note: Each gathering will take place one day prior to the tournament start.

Gathering Day Schedule

  • Morning Training Sessions: High-performance drills, tactical exercises, and physical  conditioning 
  • Afternoon Match Play: Competitive evaluation and doubles pair testing 
  • Team Meetings & Roadmap Discussions: Strategy for Panamericano and long-term  program goals 

Female Team

Coaching Team: Ricardo Alcantara & Mariana Talarico (Know Your Coaches)

  1. Las Vegas – April 25th (USPA 2000)
  2. Austin – May 23rd (USPA 2000)
  3. San Francisco – August 1st (USPA 2000)

Gathering Day Schedule

8:30 AM – Kickoff & Introduction

  • Welcome and introductions
  • Meet the coach and assistant coach
  • Overview of future projects, plans, and the selection process for the PanAmerican Tournament

     

9:30 AM – 11:00 AM – Training Session

  • On-court drills and team-focused training
  • Tactical and technical exercises

     

11:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Lunch & Team Building

  • Group lunch for casual conversations and bonding
  • Team-building activities to strengthen connections

     

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM – One-Set Matches

  • Players will participate in one-set matches
  • An opportunity for the coaching staff to evaluate players in action

Post-Training:

  • The coaching staff will stay and watch the USPA 2000 tournaments throughout the weekend to further assess players’ performances in competitive settings.

Who Can Join?

All players with an American passport who are passionate about representing the USA are welcome. Whether you’ve been on the national team before or are new to the scene, this is your opportunity to connect, train, and showcase your skills.
