USPTA/PADELMBA

The United States Padel Association (USPA) has partnered with Padelmba to offer professional Padel certification. This certification program is also recognized and endorsed by The United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA).

The USPA and Padelmba are dedicated to promoting padel in North America and worldwide. They believe that the industry’s growth will come from including padel in racquet sports facilities and increasing participation, membership, and sales. Padelmba is the leading expert on Padel Education in the world, offering professional certifications, a complete Padel educational and training program, and online courses.

Coaches will benefit from the extensive teaching experience of Master Padel Professionals and this program’s unique mentoring approach. As the quality of teaching improves, the value of the Padel coaches’ contribution to the industry and the sport of Padel will increase.

By attending Padelmba certification courses, you can expect a vigorous on-court teaching and learning experience, including detailed teaching and feeding techniques, video review, access to online videos, and an extensive Padel resource manual and templates, plus much more that will improve your skills and raise you to the next level. Pademba is the platform where teaching professionals perfect their knowledge and teaching methods. The developed methodology pushes professionals to complete specific Padel training techniques in all areas of the sport.

PCR/PTR

Padel Coaches Registry (PCR) is dedicated to providing top-notch educational experiences for padel instructors and enthusiasts. Whether you are looking to become a certified instructor, tournament director, or just looking for guidance on how to introduce new players to the sport, we have something for you.

PCR Padel certification workshops (Level 1 and 2) are designed for coaches working with players at the beginner and intermediate levels. Each certification workshop is delivered by highly trained clinicians responsible for creating an effective learning environment for all coaches.

Once a coach registers for a PCR certification workshop, they are emailed access to an online video course. Once this material has been completed, coaches attend the 2 1/2-day in-person course. At the conclusion of the course, all coaches will be asked to give a 20-minute lesson, displaying their teaching and demonstration skills as well as their understanding of the PCR methodology as well as a skills and feeding test. In order to complete their certification, coaches will be required to take an online multiple-choice exam within 10 days following the workshop. The online exam measures what you learned throughout the workshop, study guide as well as general padel knowledge.

In order to become certified, coaches must demonstrate an acceptable level of competence in three key areas:

  • Playing and demonstrating skills
  • Teaching
  • General padel knowledge

All workshop participants must be current members of PCR.

  • The USPA’s role (if needed): If you have an attorney and a visa sponsor, we may be able to provide an advisory letter in support of your application.
