From April 10–12, Padel X Miami will host the FIP Promises Miami 2026, an international junior tournament drawing competitors from across the Americas across five age and gender categories: U14, U16, and U18 for both boys and girls. Finals are scheduled for Sunday afternoon, April 12.
The American presence in the draw is substantial, and the entry list reflects how far the domestic junior talent pool has developed.
Boys
In the U14 boys draw, Santiago Costantini and Sebastian Hernandez Ochoa enter as the second seed, with Marco Fuentes Davila and Eugenio Gerardo Castillo Barrera third, and Enrique Gracia and Willem Shpilsky fourth.
The U16 boys draw carries the deepest American representation of any category. Aiden Gibly, ranked 27th in the FIP Promises Americas rankings, and Francisco Bozzola enter as the top seed. Jorge Chaul (ranked 36th) partners with Finlay Harry Ferguson for the second seed. Nikolas Palacios and Matias Esteban Vazquez are third, Alejandro Kalil and Jacob Segura fourth. A long list of additional American players fills out the draw, including Mateo Aguirre, Abraham Jakubowicz, Jacobo Rodriguez, and Brandon Berger.
Pablo Avina headlines the U18 boys draw as the top seed, ranked 8th on the FIP Promises Americas list. Santiago Castro Varela (ranked 18th) and Jorge Chaul enter second. Aiden Gibly, competing in both U16 and U18, pairs with Ebbe Badersten for the third seed.
Girls
In the U14 girls draw, sisters Kiara and Valentina Bres Rohana enter as the top seed. Marisabel Aguerrevere and Mariana Aguirre Terrazas are seeded second.
Emma Cantu and Roberta Berlanga are the clear favorites in the U16 girls category. Cantu is ranked 14th and Berlanga 34th in the FIP Promises Americas rankings. Olivia Gherardi and Ariana Sagrera hold the second seed, with Katalina Correa and Lola Rose Caceres third. The Bres Rohana sisters received a wildcard to compete in the U16 as well.
Ariana Sagrera and Olivia Gherardi, both ranked 52nd, top the U18 girls draw, with Lola Rose Caceres and Luciana Cogorno seeded second. Emma Cantu and Roberta Berlanga, Katalina Correa, and Sasha Shirazipour round out the field.
Junior development on home soil
Hosting an FIP Promises event in Miami gives American juniors access to international competition without leaving the country – sanctioned draws, professional referees, and opponents from across the Americas. For players like Avina, Gibly, Cantu, and Sagrera, who have been competing on the FIP Promises circuit, this is a chance to defend and extend their rankings at home. For younger players in their first or second international draw, it’s the kind of experience the USPA’s junior development pathway is designed to provide.
“Padel X Miami is proud to host the FIP Promises Miami 2026. Watching American juniors compete in a sanctioned international draw, on home courts, against the best young players from across the Americas that’s exactly what we built this facility for. The depth of the U.S. entry list this year tells you something real about where the junior game is headed.”
