USA Padel, the national governing body for padel in the United States, today announced it has officially changed its name from the United States Padel Association (USPA) to USA Padel.

USA NATIONAL TEAM TO COMPETE AT FISU WORLD UNIVERSITY PADEL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN MALAGA

The United States will compete at the 2026 FISU World University Padel Championship, set to run July 7-11 at PSM Fantasy Club in Malaga, Spain.

BULLPADEL ANNOUNCES SPONSORSHIPS FOR THREE RISING STARS OF JUNIOR PADEL IN THE USA

Bullpadel has officially welcomed three of America’s most promising young talents to its team of ambassadors. Valentina Tinajero-Lesser, Aiden Gibly, and Santiago De La Torre Prieto have been named as recipients of Bullpadel product sponsorships. The announcement underscores Bullpadel’s deepening commitment to supporting the growth of padel in the United States. 

Born in The Woodlands, Texas, Valentina Tinajero-Lesser is a fierce and focused competitor whose athletic journey spans triathlon, golf, cross country, track, and now, padel. Now 16 years old, Valentina as represented the USA at the 2023 FIP Junior World Championships in Paraguay and the 2024 Panamerican Championships in Mexico, 

Valentina’s sights are now set on the 2025 Padel World Championship. Her long-term goals go beyond medals—she aspires to help establish padel as a mainstream sport in the U.S. and mentor the next generation of athletes.

At just 15, Aiden Gibly brings a unique combination of competitive experience and leadership to the courts. He represented the USA at the 2024 Panamerican Championships and is slated to return for the 2025 season. Aiden competes in the elite FIP Promises circuit and trains under Dario Marina, (coach and father of the former world number 15 Maty Marina), at Sunset Padel Club, a premier club member of the USPA.

Aiden is also a clinic instructor at Sunset Padel, mentoring younger players and sharing the passion that drives his ambitions. Known for his sharp style—black—and—white gear only—Aiden is building a personal brand as polished as his game.

Born in San Antonio, Texas, and raised with strong training ties to Mexico, Santiago De La Torre is one of the most seasoned juniors in the USA. At just 12 years old, Santiago has already trained with legends like Paquito Navarro, Miguel Lamperti, Juan Martín Díaz, and Tolito Aguirre.

He has accumulated state and regional titles across Mexico and placed third in the Mexican Championships in U12s in 2024. Now training at AMK American Padel Academy, Santiago represented the U.S. at the 2024 Panamerican Championships. He has his eyes on a future that includes the Olympics and a top-10 global FIP ranking.

In an official statement, Bullpadel shared:
