The United States Padel Association (USPA) is committed to ensuring the highest standards in coaching education across the country. While the USPA does not deliver coaching certification courses directly, it formally endorses independent Padel Coaching Organizations (PCOs) that meet a comprehensive set of criteria designed to uphold excellence, safety, and professionalism in padel instruction.
Through a detailed application and review process, the USPA evaluates each organization’s curriculum, instructor qualifications, course structure, safety practices, and continuing education programs. Only those that meet all requirements outlined in the USPA Endorsement Criteria and Checklist are granted official endorsement as a USPA-Approved Coaching Organization.
This endorsement ensures that coaches trained under these programs receive education aligned with international best practices, including standards for Safe Sport compliance, instructional quality, and player development.

With more than 35 years in padel and 30 years coaching around the world, including six World Championships, national-team leadership (Finland & USA), and the creation of high-performance academies in Europe and the U.S., Richy Bailey has become one of the most respected figures in global padel development.
The RB Padel Certification program provides a comprehensive, modern, and practical education for coaches seeking to teach padel at the highest standards.
It offers a three-level certification pathway:
Level I – Foundation Coach – For coaches entering the sport or guiding beginners and early-intermediate players. Learn the fundamentals through Richy’s proven systems: Padel by Pieces, Defense → Offense → Transitions, clear progressions, and simple frameworks that make padel easy to teach from day one.
Level II – Advanced Coach – For coaches working with competitive players. Focus on tactical reasoning, shot selection, partner dynamics, building offensive structures, and teaching advanced wall, volley, and overhead variations with a methodology that matches international standards.
Level III – High-Performance Coach – For experienced professionals, training tournament players. Understand the game at elite speed, develop winning patterns, apply the Iconic Way coaching philosophy, and learn how to run high-performance programs, periodization, and match-play coaching at a global level.
RB Padel Certification combines:
