Padel Haus in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, will host the USA Padel 2000 Ultra Open from July 24-26, the latest stop on the Nox USA Padel Circuit by Psycho Bunny and a chance for New York’s growing padel scene to show off in front of a national audience. 

Women’s D1: Longtime partners split up

The women’s draw carries an unusual twist before a ball is even hit. Anna Cortiles and Luice Perez, who have spent much of the past year chasing titles together and are both ranked #1 in the USA Padel rankings, will not be playing as a team this weekend.

Perez takes the top seed alongside Jordana Lujan, ranked #3. This is the first time the two have appeared in the same court on the circuit.

Cortiles takes the #2 seed with Sandra Bellver, a Spanish player who has spent most of her career on the FIP and Premier Padel tours. Bellver has already won three FIP Bronze titles in 2026 and is currently ranked #64 in the FIP world rankings. She and Cortiles have never partnered before in the USA, and how fast they find a rhythm together could decide how deep this run goes.

The third seed belongs to Camila Ramme Coellar, ranked #9, and Brittany Dubins, ranked #5. The two already have a title together this year, having won Women’s D1 at the Austin USA Padel 2000 (SNH Capital Open).

Bego Benjumeda, ranked #11, and Marta Morga Alonso, ranked #4, round out the top four seeds. Both players have logged heavy minutes on the Nox USA Padel Circuit.

Men’s D1: A Las Vegas rematch waiting to happen

The men’s draw is led by Daniel Diaz, ranked #2, and Jose David Sánchez Serrano, ranked #3, who won the Playbypoint Las Vegas Open in April and backed that title up at the SNH Capital Austin USA Padel 2000 in May. They come into Brooklyn as the team everyone else is chasing.

Second-seeded Vinny Di Francesco, ranked #1, and Ivo Andenmatten, ranked #17, know the top seeds better than anyone right now. They lost to Diaz and Sánchez Serrano in the Las Vegas and Austin finals, and return as the same pairing, looking for a different ending.

Sergio Conde, ranked #8, and Nico Agritelley, ranked #5, take the third seed. The two are among the more recognizable partnerships on the circuit and won the USA Padel 1000 Cooley Open together in San Diego last month.

Fourth-seeded Maximiliano Rozas, ranked #19, and Guillermo Jimenez Cagigas, ranked #10, are regular partners who have played together consistently on the Nox USA Padel Circuit over the past year.

Fifth-seeded Nicolas Xiviller, ranked #7, pairs with Frenchman Maxime Mora, ranked #25. Sixth-seeded Raul Ruiz, ranked #14, and Jose De Armas, ranked #18, reached the Las Vegas semifinals together before falling in three sets, and they’ll look to push a round further this time.

Matias Segura, ranked #12, takes the seventh seed alongside Carlos Javier Res, ranked #34. Rounding out the seeded field are Agustin Marcial, ranked #59, and Miguel Briega Ramos, ranked #15, a pairing that entered the Urban Padel USA Padel 1000 unseeded earlier this year despite Briega Ramos’s ranking points. They’ve since climbed into the seeded field, even if the eighth seed still undersells what they’re capable of.

Points on the line

Ranking points from the Ultra Open count toward the USA Padel National Rankings and feed into the 2026 Race, the season-long standings that determine the field for the season-ending USA Padel Circuit Championships.
