US NATIONAL ABSOLUTE PADEL TEAMS TO COMPETE AT PAN AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

The United States is sending its strongest team ever to compete at the Pan American Absolute Championships in Santiago, Chile. From October 22 to 25, both the men’s and women’s Absolute Teams will represent the USA in what promises to be a thrilling showcase of the fastest-growing racquet sport in the world.

Meet the USA Absolute Women Team

As padel continues its explosive growth across the United States, the timing couldn’t be better for both teams to make their mark on the international stage. The women’s team, led by Head Coach Richy Bailey and Assistant Mariana Talarico, enters the tournament with renewed confidence and chemistry.

“As padel rises in the USA, our women’s team rises with it, stronger than ever for the Pan American Championships,” says Bailey. “We’ve been building toward this moment, and I couldn’t be prouder of the dedication and skill this group brings to the court.”

Under the leadership of Head Coach Jaco Blanco and Assistant Jose Pablo Arizpe, the men’s team is focused on building something special. “I’m truly excited to lead the USA National Padel Team,” Blanco explains. “Having competed against all these players throughout my career, I understand their strengths and our potential. My goal is to build a strong identity and a winning mindset. What will set us apart is our attitude, commitment, and unity. We want to be recognized for professionalism and respect, both on and off the court.”

The Competition

The Pan American Championships will showcase the region’s most formidable padel powers. The tournament features seven women’s teams and eight men’s teams, with registered nations including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Paraguay, USA, and Venezuela, across both divisions. Additionally, the Dominican Republic joins the men’s competition.

The men’s division is stacked with powerhouse nations led by world #1 Argentina, whose dominance in international padel is legendary. Brazil (#6 in the world) and host nation Chile (#8) round out the top-tier competition. 

The women’s division promises equally compelling action, headlined by Argentina (#2 in the world), Brazil (#8), and host nation Chile (#13). 

Every match promises battles of precision, power, and tactical mastery that will keep fans on the edge of their seats!
