For the second time in 2026, FIP has sanctioned a Promises Tour event at Wakit Rakit, with the tournament set for June 26-28, 2026. Registration is now open, with a deadline of Wednesday, June 11, 2026.

USPA Announces Men’s US National Team Roster for FIP World Championships Qualifiers in Mexico

The United States Padel Association (USPA) is proud to announce the official roster for the Men’s US National Team set to compete in the upcoming FIP World Padel Championships North American Qualifiers. The event, scheduled to take place in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, from September 6-7, 2024, will see the US National Team battling it out against Canada and Mexico for a coveted spot in the FIP World Championships later this year.

This year’s squad represents a dynamic blend of experience and emerging talent, with each player bringing unique skills and dedication to the court. The selected players are:

  • Nicholas Agritelley
  • Fernando Alarcon
  • Jose Pablo Arizpe
  • Raul Ruiz
  • Will Agritelley
  • Sebastian Castaneda
  • Mateo Coles
  • Radu Ionescu
  • Luis Fernando Ramirez – Coach

Each of these athletes has demonstrated exceptional ability and commitment, earning their place on the national team through standout performances in domestic and international tournaments. The team, led by experienced players like Nicholas Agritelley and Fernando Alarcon, is poised to make a significant impact at the qualifiers.

USPA’s Men’s National Team Coach, Luis Fernando Ramirez, expressed his confidence in the team, saying, “This group of players embodies the spirit and determination of American padel. We’ve been working hard to prepare for this moment, and I believe we have the talent and strategy to compete at the highest level. The FIP World Championships are the pinnacle of our sport, and we’re ready to give it our all to earn our place among the world’s best.”

The FIP World Padel Championships North American Qualifiers will be a crucial step on the road to the World Championships, where the top teams from each region will face off in a bid to be crowned the best in the world. The USPA is confident that this team has what it takes to represent the United States with pride and excellence on the international stage.
