USPA Wild Cards Set for High-Stakes Matches at Miami Premier Padel

The stage is set for an electrifying showdown at the motorola razr Miami Premier Padel P1, as the five American wild card entries prepare to make their mark on one of the sport’s biggest stages. With crucial FIP ranking points, prize money, and career-changing opportunities at stake, these matches are poised to deliver top-tier drama and intensity.

A major highlight of the tournament’s early rounds will be a blockbuster all-American battle between wild card pairings Vinny Di Francesco & Nico Agritelley and Aaron Segura & Matias Segura, set for Tuesday March 18th. Tickets are available here.

This matchup is particularly unique, as all of the players have previously represented US National Team’s on the international stage and now find themselves on opposite sides of the net. While they would have expected a tough draw against one of the world’s elite pairs, fate has placed them against familiar faces. The winner of this contest will advance to the second round, securing valuable FIP points and prize money, as well as the opportunity to compete for a place in the round of 16.

In the qualifying draw, American duo Jose De Armas and Raul Ruiz will face French team Thomas Leygue and Guillermo Collado Losada on March 17th. A victory would push them closer to the main draw, a significant accomplishment given the difficult road they have traveled already.

On the women’s side, Brittney Dubins & Marta Morga have secured a main draw wild card, giving them a direct path to compete against some of the world’s top talent. Dubins and Morga will face the seventh seeds from Spain, Alejandra Salazar Bengoechea and Veronica Virseda.

Meanwhile, standout USPA circuit player Egle Petrauskaite and former USA junior and absolute representative Sofia Adamowich will compete in the qualifying draw, facing Spain’s Melania Merino Saez & Agueda Perez Ortiz on March 17th.

For these American players, Miami Premier Padel represents more than just another tournament—it’s a chance to test themselves against the world’s best, earn crucial ranking points, and prove that US players are ready to compete at the highest level of the sport.
