Miami has a new milestone to celebrate. The Cupra FIP Tour is coming to the city for the first time, with the FIP Bronze Miami taking place May 12–17, 2026, at Urban Padel in Doral, Florida. Organized by 6 Love Sports and sanctioned by the International Padel Federation (FIP), this landmark event is open to both male and female competitors and will award official FIP world ranking points, making it a genuine opportunity for players to compete on the global stage without leaving South Florida.
A Landmark Event for U.S. Padel
The Cupra FIP Tour spans Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze tiers, connecting competitive padel players from every corner of the world. A Bronze-level tournament offers an accessible yet meaningful entry point into the FIP ranking system, opening doors to higher-tier events and international recognition. Holding such an event in the United States, particularly in Miami, widely considered the country’s padel hub, marks a defining moment for the sport’s domestic growth.
Urban Padel in Doral is the ideal setting for a tournament of this stature. The facility opened in June 2025 and has rapidly established itself as the largest indoor padel club in the United States, featuring 12 state-of-the-art courts built to international competition standards across more than 65,000 square feet. It has already hosted the USPA Wild Card Tournament and the USPA Circuit Championships, proving its reputation as the country’s premier venue for elite-level padel.
In addition to the FIP Bronze tournament, a USPA 250 will be held on the finals weekend May 15-17. This will allow players of the USPA 250 to enjoy watching the professional players at the same venue. Players wishing to enter both tournaments may do so, but need to register for each separately on the FIP Bronze Registration page and USPA 250 Registration page.
The Architect Behind the Achievement: Andi Neugarten-Maio
This event would not have happened without the relentless drive and vision of Andi Neugarten-Maio, founder of 6 Love Sports. A former competitive tennis player, marathoner, and Ironman triathlete, Andi discovered padel after moving to Miami and fell completely in love with the sport. What followed was not just a personal passion, but a mission.
She founded 6 Love Sports with a single purpose: to elevate and empower padel in the United States, with a particular focus on growing opportunities for women. She launched the Miami Women’s Padel League, the first of its kind in the city, which grew explosively, drawing over 130 players in its inaugural season. She has since expanded 6 Love Sports into a national and international movement, appointing ambassadors across the U.S. and beyond.
Bringing the FIP Bronze Miami to life is the culmination of that work. Partnering with Urban Padel and securing FIP sanctioning for a Bronze tournament in Miami represents a level of ambition and execution that puts U.S. padel on the map in a new way. Players and the sport itself are the direct beneficiaries.
“This is a defining moment for padel in the United States. Hosting an FIP Bronze tournament in Miami, the true epicenter of padel in the U.S., is not just exciting; it is monumental. It signals that we are now on the center stage and that the USA is here to stay. Partnering with Urban Padel to bring this event to life has been incredibly special. Their Doral facility is substantial, with 12 indoor courts and a team that truly makes things happen. But more importantly, this is about development. The reality is that the U.S. is still years behind the rest of the world in padel. We will catch up, I have no doubt, but it will take commitment, exposure, and opportunities like this for our players to compete, learn, and grow. Events like this FIP tournament are exactly what we need to accelerate that journey.” – Andi Neugarten-Maio, Founder, 6 Love Sports
