US NATIONAL SENIOR PADEL TEAM HEADS TO BUENOS AIRES FOR THE FIP SENIOR WORLD CUP 2026

The largest edition of the FIP Senior World Cup in the event’s history is set to begin, and USA Padel has named the rosters that will represent the country on the sport’s biggest age-group stage.

The FIP Senior World Cup is the top international team competition for age-group padel, and this year the tournament makes history of its own: Buenos Aires, Argentina, will host the event for the first time, marking its debut in South America. The Argentinian Padel Association takes over hosting duties, with the Final Phase running September 15–19, 2026, preceded by men’s qualification from September 12–14.

A Growing Global Event

This will be the fourth edition of the FIP Senior World Cup, following stops in Estepona, Spain (2018), Las Vegas, USA (2022), and La Nucía, Spain (2024). It is also, by a wide margin, the largest field the tournament has ever assembled. The competition has expanded to 32 national teams, up from 24 in 2024 and just 16 in the Las Vegas edition, with both the men’s and women’s competitions contested across five age divisions: 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, and 60+.

The women’s draw features 25 pre-registered nations, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, France, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Spain, and the United States, among others. The men’s field runs even deeper, with 36 registered nations spanning six continents, from established padel powers like Argentina, Spain, and Italy to first-time or emerging entries like Egypt, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea.

Both the USA men’s and women’s teams have already secured spots in the Final Phase, entering the competition directly rather than needing to come through qualifying.

USA Building on 2024 Results

At the last edition in La Nucía, Argentina’s men and Spain’s women were crowned world champions. The US National Senior Padel team delivered its best results to date, with the women’s team finishing in a historic 7th place and the men’s team taking 9th. Both squads will be aiming to climb higher in Buenos Aires.

USA Padel has now confirmed the rosters that will chase that goal.
