This August, some of the top junior padel talent from the United States will compete in Veracruz, Mexico, as part of the Pan American Junior Circuit, one of the premier junior padel circuits in the Americas.

AGE GROUP NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS RETURN TO TEXAS, RAISING THE BAR FOR SENIOR PADEL

The USPA Age Group National Championships return for their second edition this September, offering one of the most competitive and prestigious stages for senior padel in the United States. The event will occur September 12–14 at U-PADEL in The Woodlands, Texas, with all matches held indoors to ensure top-level playing conditions.

This year’s tournament again features men’s and women’s divisions in 35+, 45+, and 55+ age groups. It follows a strong season of participation at age-group regional events nationwide.

1,500 Points and National Glory on the Line

As the culmination of the age group circuit, the national championship is more than a title. It’s the highest-ranking point event of the 2025 USPA calendar, with 1,500 points awarded to winners in each division. For many teams, this tournament marks the peak of their season and a defining moment in their national ranking journey.

Tournament Schedule and Format

  • Dates: Friday to Sunday, September 12–14
  • Location: U-PADEL, The Woodlands, TX (7 courts indoors)
  • Draw Style: 3-7 teams will be round robin style. 8 or more will be main draw and back draw.
  • Match Schedule:
    • Friday evening matches will be scheduled only for divisions with more than 16 teams
    • All other play occurs on Saturday and Sunday
  • Divisions:
    • Men’s 35+
    • Men’s 45+
    • Men’s 55+
    • Women’s 35+
    • Women’s 45+
    • Women’s 55+

International Opportunity US National Team Selection

In addition to national honors, the tournament is a direct pathway to the 2025 Pan American Championships in Asunción, Paraguay (Dec 3–6). If both players are U.S. citizens, the players on each winning team in each division will automatically receive an invitation to represent the US Senior National Team at the Pan Am event.

Throughout the weekend, US National Team coaches Angel Espadas and Antonio Martinez will be on site to connect with players and evaluate their play. A Senior Team Training Camp will also be hosted on Thursday and Friday before the tournament, offering players direct access to high-level coaching before match play begins.
