CHICAGO GETS READY TO HOST ANOTHER HISTORIC FIP PROMISES JUNIOR PADEL TOURNAMENT

The padel revolution in America is picking up serious momentum, and the latest proof is heading back to the Windy City. This August, Chicago will host the second FIP Promises in the USA this year at Padel Clube, from August 29-31, 2025, marking another milestone for junior padel in the United States.

A Game-Changer for American Padel

When discussing Padel’s explosive growth in the United States, Chicago is quickly becoming synonymous with excellence. Padel Clube has stepped up as a true pioneer, leading the charge in bringing world-class international junior tournaments to American courts. Their commitment to developing young talent and elevating the sport domestically is impressive.

This isn’t just another tournament, it’s a statement. The fact that we’re seeing a second FIP Promises event in the USA speaks volumes about how seriously the international padel community is taking American development. For young players across the country, this represents an incredible opportunity to compete at the highest level without needing a passport.

“We’re incredibly proud to host our second FIP Promises junior tournament here at Padel Clube. Supporting the next generation of padel players is at the heart of what we do, and there’s nothing more rewarding than watching these young athletes grow, compete, and fall in love with the sport. It’s an honor to be part of their journey.”  Rudi Kalil, Padel Clube

Perfect Timing for Rising Stars

What makes this particularly exciting is the timing. The Chicago event becomes the perfect tune-up opportunity with the FIP World Championships scheduled for September in Spain. Young American players will get invaluable match experience against international competition just weeks before the sport’s biggest stage.

This tournament offers something invaluable for the U14, U16, and U18 categories: genuine international competition experience. These aren’t just local matches with higher stakes; this is the real deal, with players who’ve been training for moments exactly like this.

If you’re a young player or know someone who is, the registration details are straightforward:

Why This Matters

Every sport needs a pathway from playground to podium, and tournaments like the FIP Promises are building that for American padel. When young players see a clear progression from local club play to regional tournaments, international events like this one, and eventually world championships, their mindset shifts. It motivates them to approach their development with greater purpose and ambition. For the young athletes who step onto those courts, the experience could shape their entire relationship with the sport.

The future of padel is coming to Chicago this August. Don’t miss being part of it.
