Chicago is set to host one of the most exciting youth padel events of the year as FIP Promises Chicago arrives at Padel Clube from April 18-20, 2025. As part of the International Padel Federation’s (FIP) youth development circuit, this tournament will bring together some of the most promising junior players from around the world, providing them with a platform to compete at an international level.

This marks a significant moment for youth padel in North America, as the FIP Promises circuit expands to the United States. The event will be held at Padel Clube in Mundelein, Illinois, a premier facility featuring six indoor courts and one outdoor court, ensuring a world-class competitive environment for young athletes.

“The future of padel lies in the hands of our youth, and the FIP Promises tournament is our investment in that future. By hosting this prestigious event at Padel Clube, we’re creating a platform where young talents can compete, learn, and grow. This event represents our commitment to youth development and our belief that investing in young talent is crucial for the sport’s future” stated Rudi Kalil, Padel Clube Founder.

The tournament will feature 32-player draws for both boys and girls. If fewer pairs register, a Round Robin format will be used to ensure maximum playing opportunities for all competitors.

  • Saturday, April 19 – Second Round & Quarterfinals
  • Sunday, April 20 – Semifinals & Finals

Players will have access to two practice courts to fine-tune their game ahead of each match.

The FIP Promises series is a stepping stone for young players looking to break onto the international scene. This event will not only offer a competitive pathway but will also provide a chance to gain FIP ranking points, a crucial step toward future professional careers.

With the rise of padel in North America, hosting a FIP Promises event in Chicago highlights the sport’s growing presence and increased investment in junior development. As the U.S. continues to strengthen its youth pipeline, this event will serve as a key milestone for young players aiming for international success.
