US NATIONAL TEAM GEARS UP FOR THE 2024 PAN AMERICAN PADEL CHAMPIONSHIPS CAT LIBRES DIVISION

The U.S. National Padel Team begins competition in the prestigious Pan American Cat Libres today, hosted at La Quinta Sports in Paraguay, from November 13-16, 2024. This highly anticipated tournament will feature top amateur talent from across the Americas, and the U.S. team is bringing together a mix of seasoned players and emerging stars. With Jon Guerra and Jacobo Blanco at the helm as coaches, the team is well-positioned to defend their title as reigning champions from last year.

The US National Padel Teams are proudly supported by Bullpadel, VanEck, Padel Haus, Padelmba, Chosen Foods, and Bullpadel – The official ball of the USPA.

Jon Guerra and Jacobo Blanco bring a wealth of expertise and strategic insight to the team. Both coaches are respected figures in the padel community, known for their technical skills and commitment to player development.

Jon Guerra, based at The Padel Courts on Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, has rapidly built a reputation for his ability to develop elite players. Guerra’s coaching philosophy emphasizes adaptability and growth, refining players’ technique while encouraging them to rise to new challenges. Jacobo Blanco operates out of Taktika San Diego and was formerly ranked #1 in the Nox USPA Open Men’s rankings; Blanco’s dedication to high-level playing will be a significant asset for the team as they compete at the Pan American Championships.

The U.S. team comprises a talented roster of male and female players with remarkable skill and passion for the sport. Each player brings unique strengths and experiences to the court, making them formidable contenders for Cat Libres.
