Professional padel returns to South Florida this week as 6 Love Sports prepares to host the FIP Bronze Miami 2026 at Urban Padel in Doral. The tournament runs May 12–17, and the entry list makes clear why this event is worth paying close attention to. A mix of seasoned international talent, rising American players, and USPA Circuit regulars fills both draws, setting up what should be a highly competitive week on the courts.
Men’s Draw: Top Seeds and American Contenders
The top seed in the men’s main draw is the French-Italian pairing of Dylan Guichard (FRA) and Marco Cassetta (ITA), the clear favorites heading into the week. Close behind at second seed is the all-Spanish duo of Jaume Romera Barcélo and Rodrigo Coello Manso, who bring considerable international experience to the draw.
The fourth seed, Kevin Uriel Kviatkovski (ARG) and Martin Araujo (URU), round out a top section of the draw that will require any challenger to produce their best padel from the first round.
The biggest American story in the men’s draw sits at the third seed. Vinny Nahuel Di Francesco, the USPA’s top-ranked player, teams up with Ignacio Archieri (ARG). Di Francesco has been one of the defining players in American padel over the past two years, winning FIP Bronze Austin last October and reaching the semifinals of FIP Silver San Diego. Coming in as the third seed, he and Archieri will be expected to go deep, and a run to the final is well within reach.
At sixth seed, Nicholas Agritelley (USA) partners with Juan Ignacio Franco (ARG). Agritelley is a USA National Team regular and one of the top USPA Circuit players, having consistently shown he can compete at the FIP level, reaching the semifinals of FIP Bronze Austin alongside Jose De Armas. That experience should count for something this week.
Two more American players sit just outside the seeded teams, Jose De Armas and Raul Ruiz. De Armas and Ruiz compete together regularly on the USPA Circuit and advanced to the quarterfinals of the FIP Silver San Diego last year. They come in as underdogs by the field’s top standards, but anyone who has followed the USPA Circuit knows not to overlook them. Both have shown they can raise their level on the big stage.
In total, 19 USA men are entered into the main draw and qualifiers. Players worth keeping an eye on include juniors, Pablo Avina, Aiden Gibly, and Alejandro Kalil, to see if they can make an impact at the FIP Bronze level.
Women’s Draw: Familiar Names and High-stakes Pairings
The women’s field is headlined by the top seed pairing of Anna Cortiles (ESP) and Marta Arellano Navarro (ESP). Arellano Navarro is ranked 65th in the world, giving this team genuine depth, and, with Cortiles, ranked number one in the USPA Circuit rankings and one of the most consistent players over the past year, they arrive as the team to beat.
At second seed, Brittany Dubins (USA) teams with Camila Ramme Coellar (MEX). Dubins is ranked number five in the USPA Circuit rankings and knows what it takes to win at this level. She claimed the FIP Bronze Austin title last October and went all the way to the FIP Silver San Diego final, partnering with Anna Cortiles, where they took the title in straight sets. Ramme Coellar is no stranger to the USPA circuit either, having been a regular presence on the tour. This pairing has the quality to win the draw.
The fourth seed brings another strong American story. Marta Morga (USA) partners with Ana Maria Cabrejas Ruiz (MEX). Morga has been steadily climbing the rankings, ranked fourth in the USPA Circuit, and reached the quarterfinals of the FIP Silver San Diego last year. Coming in as the fourth seed alongside Cabrejas Ruiz, she will be aiming to go further this time around.
Building the American PathwayÂ
FIP Bronze events in the USA have played a direct role in developing the American player pathway. They give USPA Circuit competitors a chance to earn FIP World Ranking points without traveling internationally, and they put domestic talent in the same draw as players ranked inside the world’s top 100. The results from Austin and San Diego showed that American players can not only compete at this level but also win. Miami is the next opportunity to add to that record.
To maximize the padel excitement in Miami, a USPA 250 will be held on the same weekend at Urban Padel. Players interested in competing should register by this Thursday, May 7th. This dual event provides a unique opportunity for players who wish to compete in the USPA 250 to also spectate at the FIP Bronze.
