The US Open Padel Championships by Fresca Hard, a USA Padel 2500 event, runs October 2-4, 2026 across multiple Padel Haus NYC locations. Division 1 main draws and all division finals are at Padel Haus Greenpoint in Brooklyn.
This is the third edition of the US Open, all three have been hosted by Padel Haus. Men’s and Women’s Division 1 winners each take home $9,000 per team, finalists $4,500 and semifinalists $2,250, the richest payout in the event’s history.
With 2500-level ranking points on offer, both Division 1 fields are stacked with the circuit’s top names, plus a few dangerous unseeded pairs.
Men’s Division: Diaz and Sanchez Serrano lead a loaded field
Daniel Diaz and Joseda Sánchez arrive as the top seeds and the country’s two highest-ranked players, and between them they own most of the 2026 silverware. They won the Urban Padel 1000 in February as an unseeded team, then swept both spring 2000s in Las Vegas and at the SNH Capital Open in Austin. Diaz added the Sports Haus 1000 in August with Baltazar Parra Heck, winning without dropping a set in his first event as the new No. 1. That gives Diaz four titles this year, two 1000s and two 2000s, while Sánchez has three, one 1000 and two 2000s. Their only stumble came in Brooklyn, where Parra Heck and Juampi Andrada beat them in the Ultra Open semifinal.
Second seeds Sergio Conde and Nico Agritelley are one of the circuit’s form team. They won the Cooley Open 1000 in San Diego, then reached back-to-back finals at the Ultra Open 2000 and the Sports Haus 1000. In Brooklyn against Parra Heck and Andrada, they saved three match points before losing on a star point at 5-4 in the third set.
Third seeds Ivo Andenmatten and Vinny Di Francesco won the RGV 1000 in April. They were then runners-up to Diaz and Sánchez Serrano in both the Las Vegas and Austin finals, so a rematch with the top seeds would carry real history. Di Francesco was a beaten finalist in his first US Open in 2025 and will be eager to go one step further this year.
Fourth seeds Parra Heck and Andrada arrived in Brooklyn unseeded in July and left as Ultra Open 2000 champions, knocking out the top seeds along the way. Parra Heck then won the Sports Haus 1000 with Diaz, making him one of only two men with both a 1000 and a 2000 title this year. They are a real threat for the title.
Luis Estrada and Jacobo Blanco De Miguel, now with new partners Maxime Mora and Matias Segura, were runners-up together at Urban Padel in February. Segura is coming off a run to the FIP Bronze Phoenix Open final in September. Agustin Marcial and Miguel Briega Ramos pushed Agritelley and Conde to three tiebreak sets in the Sports Haus semifinal, and Raul Ruiz, seeded with Jose De Armas, reached that event’s semis with Chris Humphreys.
The most dangerous name outside the seedings is Jose Luis González RodrÃguez. Ranked No. 69 in the FIP World Rankings, he brings international pedigree few in this draw can match. He partners Cayetano Rocafort, who reached the Las Vegas 2000 semifinals in April alongside Guillermo Jimenez Cagigas.
This year has already shown what an unseeded pair can do. Diaz and Sánchez Serrano won Urban Padel unseeded, and Parra Heck and Andrada did the same at the Ultra Open.
Women’s Division: The old partnership, now on opposite sides
The biggest story in the women’s draw is a split. Through 2024, 2025, and early in 2026, Anna Cortiles and Luicelena Perez were the circuit’s dominant team, and now they arrive in Brooklyn as rivals. Perez is the top seed with Jordana Lujan, while Cortiles is the third seed with Marta Arellano.
Together, Cortiles and Perez won the first three big events of 2026: the Urban Padel 1000, the RGV 1000 without dropping a set, and the Las Vegas 2000, where they came back from 2-5 down in the third set. That gives each of them two 1000 titles and one 2000 title this year. Their run ended in Austin, where wild cards Carla Rodriguez Sanchez and Alba Perez upset them in the semifinals.
They first played apart at the Ultra Open in July. Perez and Lujan, seeded first, lost a deciding-set tiebreak semifinal to Brittany Dubins and Camila Ramme Coellar, while Cortiles and Sandra Bellver reached the final. Lujan is still chasing her first big title of 2026 after finishing runner-up at Urban Padel with Egle Petrauskaite. As the first and third seeds, the former partners could meet as early as the semifinals.
Cortiles remains the country’s top-ranked woman, and her 2026 haul of two 1000s and a 2000 is matched only by Perez.
Second seeds Dubins and Ramme Coellar are the hottest team in the women’s field. They won both of the last two 2000s, the SNH Capital Open and the Ultra Open on this same Greenpoint site, giving each of them two 2000 titles this year. Off the circuit, they also won FIP Bronze Miami and FIP Silver McAllen. In addition, they have had great results on the Premier Padel tour this year.
Fourth seeds Marta Morga Alonso and Ornella Beltramino round out the seeded teams. Morga Alonso has two 1000 titles this year with two different partners, winning the Cooley Open with Renata Martinez and the Sports Haus 1000 with Bego Benjumeda. Beltramino is one of the most promising juniors in the world and is making a rare appearance on the USA Padel Circuit.
The names to watch outside the seedings are Renata Martinez and Valeria Montaño; both sit inside the USA Padel top 10, with Montaño at No. 7 and Martinez at No. 10, but neither has played a heavy USA Padel schedule, which is why they enter unseeded. When they have played, they have gone deep. Martinez won the Cooley Open 1000 with Morga Alonso and was runner-up with her at RGV. Montaño reached the Las Vegas 2000 semifinals with Susana Alcaraz.
A player to watch will be USA Team member Carla Rodriguez Sanchez and her partner Martina Minetti. Rodriguez Sanchez produced the women’s upset of the season in Austin. As a wild card with Alba Perez, she beat Lujan and Beltramino in the quarterfinals and Cortiles and Perez in the semifinals before finishing runner-up at the SNH Capital Open 2000. Minetti brings a top-200 FIP World Ranking, and players from three of the four seeded teams have already lost to Rodriguez Sánchez this year.
What to watch
In the men’s draw, the question is whether anyone can stop Diaz and Sánchez Serrano. Conde and Agritelley have been knocking on the door all summer, and Parra Heck already knows how to beat the top seeds here.
In the women’s draw, all eyes are on Perez and Cortiles on opposite sides of the net, with Dubins and Ramme Coellar chasing a third straight big title. Play begins Friday, October 2, with finals on Sunday, October 4, streamed on the USA Padel YouTube channel.
